Cortney Young appointed to the Reno Human Rights Commission

We are proud to announce the City of Reno has appointed Cortney Young, Mediator with Blanchard, Krasner & French to the Reno Human Rights Commission. The Human Rights Commission was created to serve as a forum for discussion of human rights issues and to propose solutions for the improvement of human relations in the City of Reno, and will make recommendations to the City Council with regard to the development of programs for the promotion of social justice, diversity/inclusion, equal opportunity and human dignity among all citizens and visitors of the city. The Commission shall consist of up to 14 members nominated and appointed by the City Council and adequately representing the various human rights-related interests in the city. Read more…
