David C. Hawkes is a partner at Blanchard, Krasner & French who joined the firm in 2006. His practice focuses on complex employment and consumer litigation, including wage and hour class actions, as well as individual employment matters in litigation, arbitration, and administrative actions.

About

David advises clients on a full range of employment, business, and corporate matters. His responsibilities include prosecuting and defending complex employment and consumer litigation matters, including class actions, collective and representative actions.

David also prosecutes and defends individual employment matters in litigation, arbitration, and administrative actions, including wage and hour, wrongful termination, discrimination, and unfair competition claims.

Prior to joining Blanchard, Krasner & French, David worked for a prominent San Diego class action litigation law firm. David was a partner in his own law firm, where he acted as managing partner of the transactional practice group and as co-managing partner of the litigation practice group. 

David also worked for a highly-regarded intellectual property law firm, where he worked on trademark registration and litigation matters for many of the best-known casinos and resorts on the Las Vegas Strip.

Outside of work, David enjoys attending concerts and sporting events, listening to music, watching movies, traveling, and spending time with his wife and family.
