Oleg Cross is Certified as a Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Law by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization. Mr. Cross is a graduate of Duke University School of Law. He has received the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards (“AV Preeminent”) from the Martindale Hubbell® peer review rating service. In addition, he has been included in “Super Lawyers” since 2013. His practice encompasses estate and tax planning, trust administration, and select estate and trust controversies. Mr. Cross also provides advice and counsel in various stages of trust administration and trust proceedings.

REPRESENTATIVE TRANSACTIONS

 

In trust and estate litigation, Mr. Cross has represented both beneficiaries and fiduciaries in a variety of estate and trust matters, including contested trust proceedings, trust reformations and modifications, accountings, breach of fiduciary duty claims, elder financial abuse claims, ancillary civil cases, and other claims implicating the economic value of estates and trusts.

 

His trial experience includes both bench and jury trials. Mr. Cross also handles select appeals, and is counsel of record in Haggerty v. Thornton, 15 Cal.5th 729 (2024).
