
Mr. Morrison focuses his practice in the areas of corporate, securities, intellectual property, and entertainment law, including: general business and contract negotiations; corporate, limited liability company, partnership and joint venture formations; mergers and acquisitions; private equity offerings; venture capital; and intellectual property transfer and licensing. Mr. Morrison joined the firm in 2007. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Morrison worked in the intellectual property department of a prominent local medical devices company and in the chambers of the Honorable Barry Ted Moskowitz of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California. Mr. Morrison also currently owns and operates an independent record label.
Mr. Morrison received his undergraduate degree in Microbiology, summa cum laude, from Texas A&M University, where he was admitted as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Mr. Morrison received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of San Diego, where he was admitted as a member of the Order of the Coif. He is licensed to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
