Mr. Miller focuses his practice in the areas of real estate, estate planning and administration, and corporate law including the representation of lenders, developers and investors in all phases of acquisition, financing, development, leasing and disposition of commercial real estate properties; trusts; trust administration; probate; corporate and individual tax planning; limited liability company, partnership and corporate formations. Mr. Miller joined the firm in 2006. Prior to his legal career, Mr. Miller was a financial executive with a REIT advisor, several real estate investment concerns and a diversified agricultural company.

Mr. Miller received his undergraduate degree in finance from the University of Notre Dame, an MBA in finance from Case Western Reserve University and his J.D. degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law.

Mr. Miller is also a licensed California real estate broker.

• Represented Seller in the Sale of a franchised hotel property in San Diego, California.
• Represented lender in in connection with a bridge loan secured by property in San Diego and Mexico.
• Represented buyer in the acquisition of a commercial property for future development in San Diego, California.

• Represented lender in the financing of a Class “A” office project in San Diego, California.

• Represented regional financial institution in long term lease negotiations with national REIT with respect to Class “A” retail banking and office space in San Diego, California.

• Represented buyer in acquisition and financing of office building in San Diego, California.

• Represented developer in the financing, permitting, leasing and development of a community shopping center in Riverside County, California.

• Represented numerous tenants’ in office and retail lease negotiations.

• Represented seller in sale and 1031 exchange of multi-tenant warehouse and distribution center in San Diego, California.

• Represented buyer in the exchange and acquisition of investment property in Los Angeles, California.

• Represented Seller in the sale of a tenant-in-common interest in a cold storage facility in Imperial County, California.
• Represented Seller in the sale of an agricultural storage and production facility in Imperial County, California.
