Mr. Borkum, a director and shareholder of Blanchard, Krasner & French, focuses his practice in the areas of corporate, employment, and real estate law, including general business and contract negotiations; limited liability company, partnership and joint venture formations; mergers and acquisitions; private equity offerings; real estate acquisition, development, finance and 1031-Exchange structures; and counseling clients on employee/independent contractors issues. Mr. Borkum joined the firm in 2002. Prior to his legal career, Mr. Borkum was an investment advisor with Kidder, Peabody & Company and also helped open a local restaurant, Kensington Grill.
Mr. Borkum received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Los Angeles and his J.D. degree from California Western School of Law.
